The evolution of Endoscopies helps us to treat difficult cases in a simple and less painful manner with sub-centimeter incisions and patients are discharged in a day.

Below mentioned are some of the Endoscopic surgeries done at Prime Hospital under sub-centimeter incision (8mm).

  • Endoscopic Spine Surgery for Lumbar Disc Herniations

There are different site lumbar disc herniations as Median or Paramedian, Foraminal or Extraforaminal. Central Herniations mainly cause back pain and sideway herniations compress the nerve roots and lead to sciatica or leg pain. Depending on the direction of herniation, an interlaminar endoscopic approach or transforaminal endoscopic approach is performed with a single sub-centimeter incision (8mm).

  • Endoscopic (Stenoscopic) Spine surgery for Lumbar Canal Stenosis

For Lumbar canal stenosis, Endoscopic Lumbar Canal Decompression known as the PSLD technique is the latest and most advanced Endoscopic Spine procedure. Even when Canal Stenosis involves 2-3 levels, at Prime Hospital, we do Endoscopic Spine surgery using a single sub-centimeter incision by jumping technique.
