Dr. Walaa Hassan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine Al-Azhar university in Egypt and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in cardiology from Al-Azhar University in Egypt. She completed her Specialist training in Cardiology at Aswan Heart Center (Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation) which is the largest tertiary cardiac center in Egypt then she got the Diplomate of congenital heart diseases in Echocardiography from the European Society of Cardiology. She is experienced with more than 7 years in Cardiology and Congenital Heart Diseases in adults and pediatrics.
She was working as a cardiology Specialist at Aswan Heart Center (Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation) where she managed outpatients, inpatients, and non-invasive cardiology work. She was an active part of the congenital heart disease and cardiac electrophysiology teams.
Dr. Walaa is a member of the European Society of cardiology and a lifetime member of the Egyptian Cardiology Society.
