Dr. Heidi Calixto | Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Women Care)

Dr. Heidi Calixto is a natural-born Filipino. She finished College with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Manila Central University. She then pursued further studies in Medicine at Manila Central University and subsequently obtained her license as a Doctor. She had her residency training in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Quirino Memorial

Medical Center, a  Government tertiary institution in the Philippines. She further took a subspecialty training in Ultrasound of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in East Avenue Medical Center, also a Tertiary referral Government Institution in the same country. She was an active Consultant in several Hospitals in Manila. She was the former Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Allied Care Expert Medical Center in Quezon City. She has been in practice as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 13 years not only in the Philippines but also in Maldives and Cambodia.

• Most Memorable Moment: At this point in life, I have quite my fair share of memories that I can say made a mark in my heart. However, I would like to focus on the positive, which is when I delivered the first baby from my patient. After a long sleepless night, it made me feel the satisfaction of seeing a mother’s smile and hearing the first cry of a newborn baby. 
• Most Challenging Moment: In this field of work we can stumble through different challenges, but in this whole life I know most will agree that the Pandemic was the most challenging and remarkable. It was unprecedented and there were fears and anxiety.
