Dr. Hameed Hussain is an alumnus of Madras Medical College Chennai, He obtained his MBBS in 1981 from Tirunelveli Medical College and MD in general medicine from Madras Medical College in 1988. He obtained his DM gastroenterology from Stanley Medical College, Chennai India. He has 40 years of experience in the medical field and 21 years in gastroenterology alone. Dr Hameed has over 15 years of experience in the Gulf region. Worked as a specialist in internal medicine in Saudi Arabia and consultant Gastroenterologist at King Fahad hospital in Saudi Arabia. Previously he worked as a specialist gastroenterologist at Aster specialty clinic Dubai. Before coming to UAE, he served as a consultant gastroenterologist in various hospitals in India. His special interest is in luminal gastroenterology and hepatology. He is well-versed in upper GI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Proctoscopy, Polypectomy, and Banding. Clinically he has been dealing with all kinds of abdominal problems such as GERD, PEPTIC ULCER, and Abdominal pain. Jaundice, Liver problems, Diarrheal disease, Pancreatic disease, Colonic problems, Anal fissure, Bleeding from Rectum.
