Dr. Azam Badar Khan, aka also known as Dr. KNEE, is a well-known Indian Knee Replacement surgeon based in Dubai with experience of more than 20 years. He hails from Bihar, India, completed his medical and Orthopedic specialization in India from Banaras University & further sub-specialized, and obtained Fellowship in Pelvis and Acetabulum from USA & Fellowship in Total Knee Replacement from ST. Petersburg. 

Coming from a family of doctors, carrying his late father Dr. Badar Khan's legacy of Orthopedics, Dr. Khan is known for the latest techniques in knee replacement, such as ROBOTIC and CUSTOMISED PATIENT-SPECIFIC knee replacement. 
He is also an authority in PRP Stem Cell Treatments for OSTEOARTHRITIS of the knee.  Although experienced in all aspects of his field, he now specializes on in Knee related issues, especially Osteoarthritis. He is metalinguistic, well versed in English/Hindi/Urdu & active on social media educating & motivating his patients. He is also academically active in publishing & has been a keynote speaker at many national and international conferences & has co-authored the book 'Knee Surgery'. Dr. Khan is known for his dynamic nature and empathy toward his patients & his compassionate nature makes him popular among his patients as evidenced by online reviews.

Dr. Khan is a multifaceted personality and had varied interests such as biking, flying, and many more exciting outdoor activities. His avid interest in adventure trekking has taken him to explore Antarctica, the South Pole, a rare habitat, to climb some of the highest peaks such as Everest base camp & Kilimanjaro. He aspires to climb ' Mount Everest ' in the near future and is training for it. What makes Dr. Khan unique and different from his fellow members in his profession is his passion for Community Service. 

He is the Head of Prime CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and has taken numerous initiatives for social campaigns as an Environmentalist which includes Plantation and Beach Cleaning. Dr. Khan is the founder and member of the "LET'S WALK AGAIN" foundation which is a Mission to help patients with Knee Pain. Despite his busy clinical practice, he dedicates his free time to regularly organizing Free Knee Replacement Camps in various parts of India ( Kargil, Leh) Africa & UAE. Dr. Khan says, "since I became an Orthopedic Surgeon, my focus has always been on KNEE, not just the surgical side of it but on the overall health of the knee. I believe that, before reaching the stage of knee replacement, patients can do a lot to protect their knees". 

He started the global community initiative " Knee awareness Campaign " for the first time ever in the world, and took his knee Osteoarthritis patients whom he calls ' Knee Warriors' for a road show in the Dubai 30x 30 fitness challenge 2023. 
He practically demonstrated his belief in keeping your knee healthy by taking one of his osteoarthritis patients to the Everest Base camp trek with him & successfully completing it. He says that it is his dream for this ' Knee Awareness Campaign" to become a global movement that will not only help people to have healthy knees and hence remain active and mobile as they grow older, retaining the better quality of life.
