Ummulbani Mithiborwala | Physiotherapy


Ummulbani Mithiborwala completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in 2007 at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Gandhi Vidhya College. She also has a certificate in yoga from Yogniketan Baroda in India. Ummulbani is an experienced physiotherapist for more than 5 years specializing in orthopedics and trauma, neurology, ICU, and out-patients. She has worked with the City Hospital & Research Centre and the Aseem Orthopaedic Hospital, both in Mumbai, assisting patients on support devices, sprints and slings, as well as in postural drainage, percussion, vibrations and deep breathing exercises to treat respiratory conditions. Through home visits, she has also helped rehabilitate many patients in India suffering from paralysis, post-operative joints replacement, post-operative fractures, Parkinson's, Cerebral palsy, obesity, and arthritis patients. 

Ummulbani is a regular fixture in numerous regional and international conferences, sharing and exchanging ideas with her like-minded peers in hopes of furthering the field of Physiotherapy worldwide.
