Prof. Dr. C. Mohamed Ashraf is a leading Gynecologist and a specialist in fertility treatment and endoscopic surgery, with more than 30 years of professional experience. Dr. Mohamed Ashraf has led a team of 40 plus expert consultants in the field of infertility, fetal medicine, genetics, pediatrics, neonatology, radiology, gynecology and obstetrics at five leading super specialty healthcare facilities spread across South India and Middle East Asia.

In his former position as the Chairman and Managing Director of CRAFT Hospital and Research Center in Kerala, India, Dr Ashraf offered the most modern treatments in the field of laparoscopic surgery, infertility treatment and reproductive medicine to his patients. He has successfully performed more than 30,000 fertility enhancing and gynecological laparoscopy surgeries over the past 30 years. CRAFT was established in 1999 and has gone on to become a leading referral centre for comprehensive infertility treatment in India. CRAFT’s expertise in assisted reproductive technology (ART) includes, IVF, Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), TESA- ICSI, PESA- ICSI, Assisted Hatching, and Embryo Freezing, Micro TESE- ICSI, PGS & Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).

Dr. Mohamed Ashraf is a life member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA); FOGSI; the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy; the American Association of GyneacLaproscopists (AAGE); the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE); and the American Society for Reproductive medicine (ASRM). He is also the President of the Kerala Association of GyneacEndoscopists (KAGE). He won the ‘Gandhian Sevana Puraskaram’ award in 2003. He has published many papers and case reports in leading medical journals, including the Journal of Human Reproductive Sciences; British Journal of Nutrition; International Journal of Infertility and Fetal Medicine; and the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics, among many others.
