Dr. Pavithra is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at PRIME Medical Center, with extensive experience in evidence-based internal medicine, diabetes management, thyroid disorders, and comprehensive adult healthcare. Prior to joining PRIME Medical Center, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, where she gained in-depth experience in clinical practice and medical education. She has also worked as a Senior Registrar at Apollo Hospital, further strengthening her expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of medical conditions.
Dr. Pavithra has hands-on experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and remains academically active through participation in conferences and continued professional development. She has also authored a review article on Diabetes published in the Asian Journal of Diabetology. She has completed a Postgraduate Program in Advanced Diabetes from Harvard Medical School, USA, as well as an Advanced Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus from the UK. In addition, she has completed several certificate courses in Diabetes and Thyroid disorders.
Dr. Pavithra is a lifetime member of the Association of Physicians of India (API). She graduated from Sri Devaraj URS Medical College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, in 2002, and subsequently completed her DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Internal Medicine, New Delhi.
