Introduction

Dr. Raafat has over 20 years of experience in the field of General Surgery. He had his basic medical qualification and training in Egypt. He got his master's degree in general surgery from the prestigious faculty of medicine in Ain Shams University in Cairo. He has ATLS (Advanced trauma life support) and ACLS (Advanced cardiac life support) courses. He is a member of the Asia Pacific Hernia Society and Dubai Hernia Society. He practiced in many hospitals in Alexandria and Sohag in Egypt before coming to Dubai to join Rashid Hospital for almost 7 years & Zulekha Hospital for 1 year.
