Dr. VAIDEHI DESAI SHAH is India's youngest and 1st qualified lady Robotic Gynecologic Surgeon in India and was awarded on NDTV in 2018. After her post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she persuaded her Diploma and Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery. She's also one of the youngest Fellows of the International College of Robotic Surgeons. She has won the award of "Best outgoing student in the field of Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynecology. " During her residency, in 2016, she won the 1st prize for the national quiz competition on "Medical disorders in Pregnancy" held at the prestigious Sri Ramchandra University, Chennai. She also won the 2nd prize at an e-poster presentation at Sri Ramchandra University, Chennai. She has participated actively in many workshops like cosmetic gynecology, legal medicine, high-risk pregnancy, maternal and fetal medicine, and has presented many papers, researches, case presentations, and E-posters at various conferences in India and abroad.
DR. VAIDEHI DESAI SHAH has worked as Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at a Government hospital in Gujarat and has been a faculty and thesis guide for postgraduate obstetrics and gynecology students. She is a certified Skilled Birth Trainer and has imparted SBA training to many doctors, interns, nurses, and paramedical staff. She has been spreading the light of her academically-sound knowledge to the pre- pg aspirants and foreign medical graduates across various institutes in different cities of India. Through her extraordinary teaching skills, she makes the subject of obstetrics and gynecology so fun-learning, an 'easy- to- remember' one with mnemonics for her students. With her unique way of teaching, she simplifies difficult topics, thereby giving clarity to the topic & deeper understanding of the concepts to her students. She is a very approachable teacher to her students & is always willing to help them solve their queries & bring them closer to achieving their dream PG seat. She has been the chief editor of the book "Comprehensive Review of Obstetrics and Gynaecology," available on Amazon.
DR. VAIDEHI DESAI SHAH has also been the premier faculty at Dr. Bhatia's Medical coaching institute, the oldest coaching institute for doctors in India. She has been associated with the new generation app-based learning platform. She has her own YouTube channel named "Dr. Vaidehi Desai Shah's obstetrics and Gynaecology," and her discussion forum page on Facebook called "Dr. Vaidehi Desai Shah's obstetrics and gynecology discussion forum." She believes in constantly spreading the light of her knowledge to the next generation of doctors and has become a renowned International and National faculty for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
