Dr. Puneet Wadhwa | Pediatrics (Child Care)

-       His inspiration comes from his family: his father was a doctor and his forefathers were ayurvedic physicians (Hakims) for the last 4-5 generations, so it’s a natural profession

-       His hobbies include going for long walks, listening to old Hindi songs and inspirational movies across Bollywood /Hollywood

-       He loves to be physically active and whenever possible, spend time with his own family 

Motto: “If each one of us is doing whatever best we can do in our present situation, our world will be a better and peaceful place and our lives will be joyful. I personally want to be remembered as a successful pediatrician and a helpful person to people around me .”

Most Memorable Moments:

•   Getting a Fellowship in Singapore was most memorable, as this was his first overseas visit out of India. He came back as a different person, with a worldwide view to healthcare and that’s why he chose to work in the UAE
•   Clearing his MRCPCH exams in the UK  

Most Challenging Moment:

When doing his MD at the Medical College in Jaipur, there was an epidemic of food poisoning with around 200 kids admitted to his 50 bedded ward.  He was one among 6-7 doctors managing them day and night. Thankfully all of them recovered and were discharged in 4-5 days.
