Dr. Mustafa Hatim Mahesri | Ear, Nose & Throat (Ent)

• Was inspired to be a doctor by watching his father treat sick people and curing them of their illness and worries with a small dose of Medicine and a large dose of Reassurance.
• His hobbies are collecting postage stamps, reading books and listening to Rock music of the 70s & 80s. 
• His favorite movies are: Hollywood: Ben Hur, Sound of Music, Roman Holiday and The Godfather/ Bollywood- Sholay, Arth & Taare Zameen Par

Most Memorable moments:

• Donating blood for a poor patient of undergoing major surgery for laryngeal cancer at KEM hospital, Mumbai, India. Most endearing moment: When that same patient touched his feet after successful surgery and getting fresh fish (early morning catch) to the ENT clinic of the hospital.
• His most proud moment was being a grandfather to a healthy grandson and his milestone achievement has been to serve humanity in my capacity as an ENT Surgeon.

Most Challenging moment:

Performing an emergency tracheostomy operation on a 3-month old gasping Emirati child in Khorfakkan Hospital, in the middle of the night. The child survived the ordeal after being shifted to the Pediatric ICU.
