Prime Hospital organizes charity campaign to commemorate spirit of Ramadan
22nd June, 2017
In line with its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program and to complement the directives of His Highness (H.H.) Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to mark 2017 as the ‘Year of Giving,’ Prime Hospital is currently taking part in various charitable activities to uphold the spirit of Ramadan. As part of the Prime CSR Program, it has also launched a new hashtag #PrimeGivesBack. To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, Prime Hospital recently donated a significant contribution to the Rashid Center for Disabled, the Dubai-based philanthropic organization.
Prime Hospital has collaborated with the UAE Red Crescent Society to set up Ramadan tents for labourers to conduct free medical tests, including Body Mass Index (BMI), Blood Pressure, Triglycerides, and Glucose during the month of giving. It has also handed out 1,000 Iftar meal packs to labourers. Furthermore, the healthcare facility will waive charges of the theater room, anesthesia, and consumables for Cochlear Implant procedures performed for children below four years at its premises. Also, Prime Hospital has also allocated a financial assistance fund to support its direct charitable activities (DCAS).
“Benevolence is the core of our CSR programs and we are very passionate about all our humanitarian activities. For us, philanthropy is not only about making donations but making a difference in someone’s life, especially those who are needy and deprived. Our charitable activities this Ramadan demonstrates our commitment to give back to society in order to make sustainable progress. We are happy that we have been able to bring a smile on the faces of many during the holy month and will continue with our humanitarian work in future,” concluded Dr. Jamil Ahmed, Managing Director of Prime Hospital.
